Oakland Classes

The Evolving Body Mind (EBM) Academy is a fully recognized Nonprofit Corporation. Founded in 1993, the purpose of EBM Inc. is to provide the public with authentic instruction in the Chinese martial arts of Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, San Shou (Chinese Kick Boxing), Hsing I Ch'uan and T'ai Chi Ch'uan.

EBM Kung Fu is located in Oakland, California USA. EBM offers a complete program from traditional internal martial arts to full-contact sanshou competition.

EBM Kung Fu is home to the Oakland San Shou Team which has produced 6 National San Shou Kick Boxing Champions and holds over 30 championships titles.

next kettlebell workshop - November 11th from 2:00-3:30 PM The next kettlebell workshop is on Sunday November 11th from 2:00-3:30 PM. This workshop will review the fundamentals of kettlebell body mechanics and principles. We will also be looking at some new exercises and workout routines/strategies.

We are holding a seminar on kettlebell training on power development for boxing and wrestling. We are focusing on fundamentals of body mechanics and proper technique.
