Oakland San Shou at Born to FightRuss Middleton wins his fight in Henan Province, China. Russ is one of the few people to ever defeat a Chinese fighter in China.

Brent Hamby appointed Assistant Coach to Gao Mae JianBrent Hamby will be the assistant coach to Gao Mae Jian for the US San Shou Team at the 7th World Wushu Championships. Brent, and Oakland San Shou fighter Russ Middleton will be traveling to China in November for the World San Shou Championships. The USA has never won the Gold in international San Shou competition, perhaps this year history will be made.

Oakland San Shou Team at Team Trials. On June 28th Russ Middleton and Brian Madigan competed at the USAWKF Team Trials for the US team in Atlanta GA. Russ Defeated Melvin Guillard and Brian lost to James Franshier. Russ went on to be selected as one of 5 fighters to represent the US in the World Championships in Macau China in November.
