These fighters will be representing the US at the World Championships in Vietnam in December. Brent Hamby and Cung Le will be serving as the coaches. Tat Wong is the Team Director.

Oakland San Shou had a strong showing at Pacific Kickboxing today, punctuated by Brian Madigan's knock out kick against a 244 pound opponent. Congratulations to Christopher Lin, Tyler Ross, Ryan Thompson and Brian Madigan of Oakland San Shou.

    Russ Middleton wins his fight in Henan Province, China. Russ is one of the few people to ever defeat a Chinese fighter in China.

    Brent Hamby appointed Assistant Coach to Gao Mae Jian

    Brent Hamby will be the assistant coach to Gao Mae Jian for the US San Shou Team at the 7th World Wushu Championships. Brent, and Oakland San Shou fighter Russ Middleton will be traveling to China in November for the World San Shou Championships. The USA has never won the Gold in international San Shou competition, perhaps this year history will be made.

    Oakland San Shou Team at Team Trials. On June 28th Russ Middleton and Brian Madigan competed at the USAWKF Team Trials for the US team in Atlanta GA. Russ Defeated Melvin Guillard and Brian lost to James Franshier. Russ went on to be selected as one of 5 fighters to represent the US in the World Championships in Macau China in November.
